Children's MinistryOur HTC Junior Church (Sunday School) is involved in teaching our young ones God’s word and bringing them into a deeper spiritual relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As teachers, we take it as a privilege that we can tell the children the glorious deeds of our Lord & Savior Jesus ChristOur goal: Nurturing faith and discipleship; encouraging parents in nurture and discipleship of children, prayer for and with children; helping children read and understand the Bible; children and the Holy Spirit; training children for ministry; children and spiritual gifts.We have children not just from HTC church but also from various other congregations. Every year we have 2 outings; once focused on learning/educational aspect during March-April and the second one during the end of the year to celebrate the festive season.Currently, we run 3 class groups namely- Bubbles (3 – 5yrs); Splash (6-9yrs) and Grid (10-13 yrs.). The curriculum we follow is from Scripture Union. Our bubbles class enjoy activities such as colouring and learning new action songs whilst our Splash class love the artwork and The Grid class look forward to intense discussions and quiz sessions each week.The format of Praise and Worship has changed to singing from sheets of paper to using projectors for the lyrics to now using action song videos which the kids love. We also take the initiative to involve our children involved in volunteering support for special needs schools in Dubai by being of their fundraiser events and distributing gifts and organizing games during Christmas.Even the COVID-19 pandemic has not been able to bring down this ministry and all Glory to God. In fact, this has given us an opportunity to conduct classes online without any summer or winter breaks. During summer we had our children engaged with Summer program and the VBS program.We continue to wholeheartedly be part of this ministry and love our children dearly and thank God for the amazing plans He has for our next generation disciples.Please contact our Sunday School Coordinator Jesse Jonathan 056-1022060
