HTC Women’s Guild
Women’s Guild ministry commenced in 2016 by the group of women from the congregation. Guild enjoys the diversity of multi-cultural and multi-national membership of women from Holy Trinity Church.
At the start of every new year, the members get together and plan the calendar of events for the year ahead. The calendar is filled with programmes and festivities covering all major liturgical festivals and special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Pentecost Friday, Father’s Day, Children’s day and Christmas market. First Friday of every month, members gather to plan and discuss for any upcoming event. Members meet every week to specifically pray for the needs of Holy Trinity Church, the congregation and special prayer requests if any.
In line with the mission statement "reach out to others in need" – members take part and spend quality time with children of Red Crescent like taking them for EID shopping, parks and other events organised by Red Crescent / Charitable institution.
As part of the ministry, members together with Pastor reach out to prisoners in Dubai to provide spiritual support as they struggle with guilt, fear and loneliness. Financial support is often provided when there is a need for repatriation to home countries.
Guild maintains an active Advice clinic for all the congregants who worship in HTC complex and friends who need support / advice in financial, visa and work-related issues. This team consists of volunteer lawyers, HR and recruitment advisors, medical staff and other relevant subject matter experts. The volunteers offer their service free of cost.
Members of Guild host and participate in all the programmes & events with dedication and compassion. Thanks to all the members for keeping up the momentum and set a high standard in everything we do.
