Wedding

We welcome the opportunity we have been given to marry adults within the Chaplaincy and to help you through procedures that are often complicated beecause we have to comply with the laws of the countries from which you come, as well as those of the UAE. We believe that marriage is a gift of God and is one of the most important steps we can take in our lives. We want your wedding day to be a special time and are happy to offer any help or advice that we can give.

For wedding enquires, please come the Chaplaincy office on Friday between 5.00pm to 7.00pm where wewill be pleased to meet you.

We are only authorised to perform wedding in the Chaplaincy compounds but a second thanksgiving service may take place elsewhere as appropriate.

Baptisms

The Chaplain is pleased to conduct baptisms by arrangement. Please contact the office.

Burials

Documents required for a burial at the Christian Cemetery:

• Clearance from Police (3 copies, one to Dubai Muncipality Cemetery Services and one to Christian Cemetery Committee office and one copy to the bereaved).
• Death certificate from the hospital (3 copies, one to Dubai Muncipality Cemetery Services and one to Christian Cemetery Committee office and one copy to the bereaved).
• Original Burial Permit from Dubai Muncipality - Cemetery Services Unit. Telephone 04-2643355.
• If Adult's burial, a copy of passport of the deceased with visa page.
• A copy of immediate relative's passport copy with visa page.
• If Child or Foetus burial, copies of Parent's passport copy with visa page.
